Promising to go off with one hell of a bang, the Intensive Series party has a powerful artillery of names and will also feature hip hop favourites Kozdahavoc and after party DJ sets to cap off live performances.

“We are excited to announce such a powerful artillery of names playing at our first ever Intensive event in Armidale,” said organiser Shaun Dunn. “Our parties are really well established in other regional areas, but we have never been to Armidale and are really pleased to include the town on this run.”

“It’s exciting to be able to provide some high end players of the electronic dance music scene to the Armidale area. We are happy to be able to mix it up a bit for you all,” added Lisa Willows.

A few words from Matt of Korzdahavoc… Hi Matt. What sparked the decision to bring this exciting dance party to Armidale?

The founders of the event hit us up with the opportunity, and we all thought it’d be a sick idea to explore a different town and atmosphere. It’s been successful in Port Macquarie for over a year now, and it’d be cool to see how far it can go. Plus, I heard there are heaps of girls at Armidale!

What can punters expect on the night?

Nothing but good vibes on the night.

There’s a bunch of very talented DJs on set, Korzdahavoc will jump on stage, some live hip hop.

Then obviously the headliners, Bombs Away, are gunna heat it up at the end of the night.

Tell us about Korzdahavoc?

Korzdahavoc successfully balance the fine line between catchy anthems and street cred, performing and crafting their hip hop art to an ever increasing, faithful audience base.

The group formed organically, as best buds Matt O’Brien and Jason Halliwell came together through our common love of Aussie hip hop, surfing, girls, and remixing songs. The subsequent musical collaboration, Korzdahavoc, was given a name and was born in Port Macquarie a year ago.

In the past year, we’ve delivered three EPs and a series of music videos. The latest offering, First Up, saw Korzdahavoc sitting on the triple j Unearthed Hip Hop Chart at positions 4, 5 and 7 simultaneously the first week of release.

Thanks Matt.
